Capel’s double-sided flexible PCB for drone BGA cameras is a core signal transmission component tailored for UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) aerial imaging systems, featuring a precision structure and reliable performance to ensure high-definition and stable high-altitude shooting. Adopting a 2-layer double-sided board design with a precisely controlled thickness of 0.2mm, it combines thin flexibility with structural stability—perfectly fitting into the compact installation space inside the drone body and conforming to complex wiring paths between the BGA camera module and flight control system. It adds no extra weight to the drone while withstanding high-frequency vibrations and airflow impacts during flight.

In terms of core materials and protection design, it uses double-sided adhesive-clad rolled substrate. The rolled copper foil has a regular crystal structure, offering excellent conductivity and extremely low signal transmission loss, which accurately carries multi-channel high-frequency signals of the BGA camera such as high-definition image data, focusing control and anti-shake commands, providing stable circuit support for the clarity and fluency of aerial images. The surface is covered with double-sided yellow coverlay, providing strong insulation and wear resistance to resist dust, temperature changes and slight moisture erosion during high-altitude flight, extending the PCB’s service life. The 3 microinches (approximately 0.0762μm) immersion gold surface treatment creates a uniform and thick gold layer, significantly improving contact stability between pads and BGA chips/connectors, reducing contact resistance. Even in complex high-altitude environments or long-duration aerial photography scenarios, it ensures immediate and accurate signal transmission, minimizing issues like image freezing and blurring.
