Capel’s double-sided FPC for printer flat cables is a core connection component tailored for printer signal transmission systems, featuring premium materials and precision craftsmanship to ensure smooth and accurate printing processes. Adopting a 2-layer double-sided board design with a precisely controlled thickness of 0.23mm, its thin and flexible properties fit perfectly into the compact mechanical structure and complex wiring paths inside printers, easily withstanding bending and pulling caused by the print head’s reciprocating movement, and meeting the miniaturization and integration requirements of devices.

In terms of core materials and protection design, it uses double-sided adhesive-clad rolled substrate. The rolled copper foil has a regular crystal structure, offering excellent conductivity and extremely low signal transmission loss, which can accurately carry multi-channel signals such as printing data and motor control, providing stable circuit support for clear printing of text and images. The surface is covered with double-sided yellow coverlay, which provides strong insulation and wear resistance, resisting dust and ink stains inside the printer while enhancing the flat cable’s tear resistance. The 1.5 microinches (approximately 0.0381μm) immersion gold surface treatment creates a uniform and dense gold layer, significantly improving the contact stability between pads and print head/motherboard connectors, reducing contact resistance. Even in scenarios of high-frequency signal transmission or long-term use, it can ensure continuous and accurate signal conduction, reducing printing freezes, misalignment and other issues.
