Capel’s double-sided flexible PCB for children’s toys is a core circuit component tailored for various electric toys (such as smart building blocks, sound-and-light dolls, and remote-controlled cars). It prioritizes children’s safety while balancing durability and design adaptability. Adopting a 2-layer double-sided board design with a precisely controlled thickness of 0.23mm, it combines thin flexibility with moderate structural strength, allowing it to fit flexibly into complex internal shapes of toys (such as curved casings and movable parts). It adapts to the miniaturized and interesting design needs of toys, while avoiding collision risks caused by hard and brittle materials for children.

In terms of core materials and safety protection, it uses double-sided PET adhesive-clad rolled 35/25 substrate. The PET substrate is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, complying with children’s toy safety standards (such as GB 6675). The 35μm rolled copper foil has stable conductivity, which can accurately transmit low-power signals of toys such as sound-and-light control and motion drive, ensuring stable toy functions. The surface is covered with 50μm double-sided transparent coverlay, which not only has good insulation and wear resistance but also fits the light display design of toys (such as glowing eyes and light strip decorations) with its transparent feature. Meanwhile, it can resist pulling, slight drops, and sweat erosion during children’s play, extending the toy’s service life. The 2 microinches (approximately 0.0508μm) immersion gold surface treatment creates a uniform and dense gold layer, improving the contact stability between pads and toy components (such as LEDs and micro-motors), and reducing the risk of functional failures caused by poor contact. Even in scenarios where children play frequently, it can ensure the safe and reliable operation of toys.
