Capel’s double-sided flexible PCB for mobile phone side buttons is a core circuit component tailored for smartphone side button modules. It features ultra-thin design and high durability to fit the compact layout of mobile phones, ensuring sensitive and stable button operations. Adopting a 2-layer double-sided board structure with a precisely controlled thickness of 0.12mm, its ultra-thin flexibility allows it to fit tightly into the narrow installation space on the phone’s side, perfectly adapting to the curved body or integrated design. It occupies no redundant internal space while enabling slight deformation with button presses, ensuring smooth user operation feel.

In terms of core materials and protection performance, it uses double-sided adhesive-clad rolled substrate. The rolled copper foil has a regular crystal structure, offering excellent conductivity and high bending fatigue resistance, which stably transmits trigger signals for side buttons (e.g., volume buttons, power buttons) and withstands mechanical stress from high-frequency presses. The surface is covered with double-sided yellow coverlay, providing both insulation protection and wear resistance to resist dust, slight friction and sweat erosion during daily phone use, extending the PCB’s service life. The 1.5 microinches (approximately 0.0381μm) immersion gold surface treatment creates a uniform and dense gold layer, significantly improving contact stability between pads, button contacts and motherboard connectors, and reducing contact resistance. Even with long-term use, it avoids issues like button failure and response delay, ensuring the continuous and reliable function of mobile phone side buttons.
