Capel’s double-sided flexible PCB for medical equipment is a core circuit component tailored for various precision medical instruments (such as diagnostic devices, monitors, and minimally invasive surgical tools), featuring strict material standards and precision craftsmanship to ensure high safety and stability in medical scenarios. Adopting a 2-layer double-sided board design with a precisely controlled thickness of 0.2mm, it combines thin flexibility with structural stability, allowing flexible adaptation to the compact layout of sensor modules, signal processing units, and display panels inside medical equipment. It fits complex curved surfaces or narrow installation spaces, without affecting the portable and minimally invasive design of the equipment, while withstanding mechanical stress from daily disinfection, movement, and handling to reduce failure risks.

In terms of core materials and protection performance, it uses double-sided adhesive-clad rolled 18/25 substrate. The 18μm rolled copper foil has a regular crystal structure, offering excellent conductivity and extremely low signal transmission loss, which can accurately carry physiological signals (e.g., heart rate, blood pressure data) and control commands of medical equipment, avoiding signal distortion that affects diagnostic or therapeutic accuracy. The surface is covered with 50μm double-sided black coverlay—thicker than conventional coverlays—which not only provides strong insulation and wear resistance but also acts as a light-shielding barrier to prevent external light from interfering with the equipment’s optical detection modules (such as endoscopes and spectral analyzers). Meanwhile, it can resist alcohol disinfection, liquid medicine corrosion, and dust contamination in medical environments, meeting medical-grade cleanliness requirements. The 2 microinches (approximately 0.0508μm) immersion gold surface treatment creates a uniform and dense gold layer, significantly improving contact stability between pads, medical connectors, and precision components, and reducing contact resistance. Even in scenarios of long-term continuous operation or frequent disinfection, it ensures reliable and consistent circuit performance, providing solid support for the accurate operation of medical equipment and patient safety.
